Vandana Dayal

Vandana is an artist whose paintings focus on imagining stunning landscapes and capturing the hypnotic mysticism that exists in nature.

 

In her three and a half decade career as a highly accomplished teacher, the love from her students has given her insight into the childlike, pure sense of wonder we all have within us.

 

Before she begins painting, she studies the history of the subject she's about to paint, so that every finished work uncovers the hidden stories behind the obvious image.

The challenge, as with any piece of art is not just to recreate the moment but instead to capture its glory in all its senses.

 

Vandana's work aims to speak, not just for her experiences, but to activate the unbound imagination each of us have.
